Southern California Pan-IIT Picnic - June 21, 2009

Pan-IIT, SoCal Chapter invites IITians and their families and friends to its annual picnic on Sunday, 21st June in sunny Cerritos, California.

This year’s Pan-IIT picnic offers a host of attractions for the alumni families and friends throughout the afternoon:
- Mouth-watering and sumptuous Indian food
- Fun games for all age groups. We are even reserving a baseball court for cricket!
- Music
- Fun prizes
- Social networking – meet alumni from all the IITs, long-lost friends and classmates, and make new friends.

SF-Bay Area Alumni Meet - June 27, 2009


Online registration for the first Alumni Event of the year - An Evening by the Bay - is now open. The program will take you back to IIT Kharagpur
Spring Festival days through a variety entertainment program featuring local talent (Alums + Spouses + Kids and Professional artists). This year
we have many new KGP talents performing to make it a spectacular evening.

Former IIT Kharagpur registrar found dead

A very sad piece of new regarding one of our former registrars:

The decomposed body of 85-year-old Anath Bandhu Biswas, who police said was a former registrar of IIT Kharagpur, was found at his Jadavpur home on Wednesday morning. Biswas lived alone. His wife died a few years ago and his children live with their families in other states. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Source: The Telegraph
