IITians form political party in India

IITians form political party in India

Five IITians have formed a new political party in India, Paritrana:

"Giving up handsome pay packages, comfort of family and support of friends wasn’t that easy," says Tanmay Rajpurohit, the national president of the party and B Tech in aerospace from IIT Bombay followed by an MS from GeorgiaTech and double masters in arts.
"But my inner voice told me that I should invest my efforts in my country rather than making my pockets heavier," said Ajit Ashwalayan Shukla, vice president of the party.

"People think we are crazy so much so that our families have also failed to
understand our motto, but we won’t give up," he added.
The core team of "Paritrana" comprises Rajpurohit , Shukla, Amit Beesen, also the vice president and a B Tech (Mechanical) from IIT Bombay and a LLB graduate, Chandrashekhar (national treasurer), B Tech (computer science) from IIT Kanpur, Bharat Sundaram, the PRO of the party and B Tech from IIT Kanpur and PhD in electronics from Melbourne.

  44. In India, we have seen whenever a vision is generated, missions are created and mission mode operations have succeeded in governmental setup or NOT. What is needed is a creative leader. Who is the creative leader? Creative leadership means exercising the vision to change the traditional role from the commander to the coach, manager to mentor, from director to delegator and from one who demands respect to one who facilitates self-respect.

I am sure creative leadership spearheads all the institutions and the future aspiring institutions. For a prosperous and developed India or any other country, the important thrust will be on the growth in the number of creative leaders and innovative organisations that can create wealth through dedicated management system.

There cannt be better start than THIS…

    BEST WISHES

Power does everything as of now. Ispite of being rich in all resources, only few are able to enjoy the life when compared to the ratio of those under the poverty line, is all b’cos of those few want to have everything with them, the power, the money and the muscle. Its high time now and lets make INDIA a model for the world to see. I take pleasure in joining the party and awaiting to serve the nation.

Really it’s a dream coming true. It is just about 58yrs of independence which was the great effort of our great leaders and their sacrifices to have free India, It is time to free the country from dirty politicians who have murders, corruptions etc as their graduation degrees to politics. With leaders like you we can expect to have clean and educated politicians in near future, then it will not be many years to achieve the India, Gandhiji dreamed of, the India all our national great leaders and our old generations made their sacrifices for. God bless you and your great effort to reform our Bharath.

But now looking at you we have raised some hope n that we can go against it when people just like us (i.e. you 5) have taken a giant leap in this sea of polluted politics.
Best wishes to u all and hope u will introduce ur party in BHOPAL also

  93. How on earth a party will succeed if the organizers do not contact those who want to support it? Starting a party is easy. Giving a press statement is even esaier. I went to the web page of the party and sent an email stating my support and expressed my interest to support the new venture. But I have not heard from them yet. Can any one suggest how to get in touch with those who are organizing the party. Do they want to limit the party to just few members? How can they win enough votes against the old political parties?

Having seen the polotical system in our country, I was even thinking of having a political party with very qualified members in order to make our country the best in every sense. I am amazed to notice that there is a political party, which is hopefully working with the same idea without any self interest. well, I am willing to join you guys.Could You please advise me how can I become the member of your team. 96. You have got your start-up, thanks to brand IIT. For God’s sake don’t fail. If you do fail, brand IIT will fail in its political foray. I hope you thought these issues through rather than merely jump into the fray at a seemingly opportune time. Even if you fail at the electoral hustings, as I expect you to, remain in the fray till you win. Having used brand IIT, which portrays the knowledge society/economy of India, you owe it to this section not to disappear. Politics is not about experiments, it is about committment. Feel free to write back. Best Wishes.

A handful of guys can be a part of government but can’t form it, so can’t change anything. so i request the youths ( bare this from patented use where above 50s are considered to be youths.) those only who have proven something in there life, to come forward and be a part of this journey which will lead us somwhere, i am sure. In my IIM days i also used to do such plannings, but “He wins who initiates.:”- Guys good work try to make a Karvan of like peoples. 103. Hi,
I have always looked for such people who can start……the police action against medical students is none less than the acts of talibanis and other terrorist groups……..it feels like we are not living in our own country INDIA……..we need a krantikari step like our leaders like bhagat singh, subhash chandra bose, chandrashekha azad did against BRITISHERS…….this system should be completely changed when at other places educated people are required for Administrative services an exam of good level is taken and they are trained before posting……we can have a college for politicians, a college of level of IIM, IIT and AIIMS and this should be constituted that candidates having completed course from those college can only participate in the elections, candidates can opt politics as profession, the syllabus of that course can be decigned at IIM and IIT and should be made in such a way that those who are not interested in national politics can work at other places as coordinators…….but it should be made mandatory that to participate in elections only after completing course from those colleges………current politicians can be given a chance to get directly admitted to that institution….just one chance……..the current politicians are nothing less than shit…….i have never voted in india but i’ll surely do in favour of paritran if this party will remain away from bribe, corruption can think of human rights because currently there are only politicians who are having rights and democracy etc. AH! just a joke.

Have a plan for all full time party workers so that they can also lead a normal life. Let them also get paid salary with other benefits so that they don’t look ahead for making money when they gain the power. I still believe that there millions of Indians who are ready to jump in for a revolution under an able leader. We are with you.

Its a wonderful idea but you guys need to be more clear on what your policies are regarding current issues like reservation, healthcare, education, economic policies (leftis or capitalist) etc. The best intentions are of little use unless they are well thought out and practical. This party is not going to get voted all by itself because most of us Indians are selfish and illiterate. We think about ourselves first and then our nation. I strongly recommend, try reaching people from the lower segment, they are the major vote bank and not us, who can acess the internet. We are all with this party. I can even put forth my name for this party’s membership. I am willing to do whatever I am asked for. I want to see my nation as indeed the Sone ki Chiriya!!
