2002 Inaugural Diwali/Christmas Dinner and Dance function to be held in Central London on Saturday 16th November 2002. This invitation is open to all members (alumni of any IIT), their children above the age of 12 and friends.

The venue is the well established and exclusive South Indian Restaurant called Malabar Junction in Great Russell Street next to Tottenham Court Road underground station. The restaurant which is famous for its Kerala Cuisine has been frequented since years by well known personalities from India and England.

The function is from 7.00pm to 12.00pm with starters, main course and dessert served with a free bottle of wine for every four diners.

Soft drinks will be served on the house for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverage. Additional alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar which will be open exclusively for the attendees.

Recorded music will be provided to your taste and there will be dancing punctuated with a tombola.

Tickets are available by invitation, at a price of 25.00 per head plus 10% service charge.

Parking is free on a single yellow line in most places in Central London after 6.30 pm (nevertheless do check the local signboards) and for those coming by bus and train, night buses ply from Trafalgar Square just 10 minutes walk away and underground trains are available from Tottenham Court Road Station only 3 minutes away from the venue.

As there is a limitation on the numbers that can be accommodated by the restaurant (72 only) names of interested parties shall be registered on a first come first served basis.
