Labor: To bring back the man-eating mares of Diomedes, King of Thrace
Hercules sailed to Bistonia and overpowered the grooms who were tending the horses. Hercules took the horses back to Mycenae. However, King Eurystheus sent them free and the mares wandered around Mount Olympus, where they were eaten by beasts.
