About Manpreet Khaira
Manpreet Khaira is Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder
of Mobilian Corporation. Manpreet is an industry-recognized expert in VLSI
design and management. Prior to founding Mobilian, Manpreet was principal
engineer and director of an advanced design technology group at Intel
Corporation. He founded the group in 1994 and grew it to one of the largest
and most prolific advanced design technology groups in the industry.
Manpreet received his B.S. in computer science and engineering from the
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and won the distinguished
President of India Gold Medal for academic excellence. He earned his M.S. in
computer science at Carnegie-Mellon University. Manpreet has seven patents
and 20 publications to his credit. Manpreet is also chairman of the board
for TrueDisk.com and an advisor to several other startups.

About the Sponsor
Back in 1994, two IIT-KGP alumni Shyamal Chaudhury (1974-RP) and Sky Basu
(1984-Patel), started a boutique consulting firm in the silicon valley trying to
bring the very best in consulting to medium size firms. As the size of these
projects grew and involved multiple groups, the complexity of managing their
issues became evident. In order to implement some software engineering
standards and keep track of various projects in this increasingly
distributed space they created a homegrown tool. The feedback that this tool
