About The Topic

One of the biggest issues facing CEO's in the High Tech Industry, is that de-aggregation (because of the need to focus on core competence and capital efficiency) has made the supply chain extremely inefficient. As a result, all major High Tech companies are looking for ways to collaborate with their supply chain partners, to improve channel visibility, and as a result, profitability.

PricewaterhouseCoopers recently organized a Roundtable to discuss these challenges in the High Tech industry. This Roundtable was attended by leading High Tech companies, such as Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, Philips, Applied Materials, Intel, Micron Technology, Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu and JDS Uniphase.

During this presentation, Denis Mathias will discuss the issues raised during the Roundtable, by OEM, as well as upstream suppliers, and the ways in which these companies are attempting to address these issues.
