As some of you might know for the first time IIT Kharagpur has a position of Dean of Alumni Affairs. Prof.
Madhusudan Chakraborty , an alumni of IIT KGP - 1971 MET LLR, is the
first Dean to hold this position. As Dean of Alumni Affiars his charter is to
be the single point of contact to the alumni world wide and coordinate and drive alumni funded projects at IIT Kharagpur. He is visiting the USA, meeting
alumni groups all over the country. You (and your significant other) are
invited to a dinner in Sunnyvale in his honor.
IIT Kharagpur was recently ranked the No. 1 Engineering institute by
India Today (June 2 2003 issue) for the third consecutive year. Come and be a
part of this glorious and world class institute as a proud alum and meet your
fellow class mates and enjoy some Cheddis time.

Inter-IIT Cricket & Volleyball
Do you play Cricket OR Volley ball? Come and enroll yourself on the 19th to be
a part of IIT KGP local volley ball and cricket team. This team would be
playing against other IITs in the upcoming pan-IIT picnic in August 2003.
