Kharagpur is located about 120 kilometers from Calcutta in Eastern India.
It is a quiet, isolated setting. It also has the largest campus (1800
acres) among all the six IITs and offers a beautiful setting for undergraduate
and postgraduate school life. These pictures show the front view of the IIT
Kharagpur Main Building. In the left of the building is the famous New
IIT Tower.
