This is the view of the Old IIT Kharagpur main building. Earlier it
was the Hijli Detention Camp where prisoners were kept during the days of
the Raj. It was the main institute building until the new building was completed
a few years later. Now, it stands as a museum and is filled with ingenious
mechanisms and tools developed as demonstration pieces over the years.
