Durga Puja, IIT Kharagpur Campus


Description	:	The Durga Puja is probably the biggest festival in West Bengal. This is the time when the Institute takes its mid-semester break. Usually all the students go home during the break, but some of the final year students generally stick around and enjoy one last opportunity to see the on-campus activity during this festive season. This is a photograph of one of the IIT campus pandal taken during the Puja vacation of 1990.
